Geminae Iaculator, literally "Twin Sticks", is a 2D game rendered in 3D that lives up to the predecessors of its namesake. The player controls a ship in a limited play area with the "WASD" keys and fires with the mouse pointer. At this point in development, the player's goal is to survive as long as possible against and endless onslaught of enemies. With four enemy types and a player's choice of upgrades after every level, every new game challenges the player to try new strategies and reach the top of the leaderboard. Connected to the steam server and with inherent local networking capability, players can even bring wingmen into multiplayer games. Composed of full 3D models in the Unreal Engine, this game holds good looks over other incarnations while keeping the known and loved gameplay and some extra features.
